Vendor Application and Selection Policies for the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival
- All vendors applying to the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival must apply prior to the deadline as stated above. Any vendor applications received after the application deadline will be placed on a waiting list and not considered in the original selection.
- Applications will be made available online on the Fringe Theatre Adventures website; www.fringetheatre.ca. Those Vendors without online access to the application form may request that an application form be sent to them via post, email or fax.
- Fringe Theatre Adventures will NOT notify vendors of pending deadlines.
- We strongly encourage all vendors to read the rules and regulations posted with the application forms to ensure they qualify.
- Selection into the Festival is contingent on the listing of the menu items intended for sale by the vendor at the Festival. In an effort to minimize competition on-site and to provide a greater variety of product to our patrons, all menus will be carefully examined before being considered for selection. The Vendor Administrator will select unique food and artisan products conducive to the Festival environment and the enjoyment of our patrons.
In certain cases, prior to acceptance into the festival, vendors may be asked to modify their menus or remove certain items in the event that there is similar product or too much repeat product offered by other vendors. Menus cannot be altered without the consent of the Vendor Administrator following acceptance into the Festival. - For Festival Arts and Crafts Vendors all items must be Artisan made, Artisan sold. No exceptions. Mass produced product will not be accepted.
- Participation is not guaranteed to previously accepted vendors. Fringe Theatre Adventures reserves the right to change the roster of vendors at our discretion to promote variety in services for future Festivals.
- Vendor locations are determined by the Vendor Administrator, in which, vendors agree to their locations at the time of signing agreements with Fringe Theatre Adventures; changing of locations is non-negotiable following the signing of agreements.
- Fringe Theatre Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation to any vendor and can terminate any agreement with vendors at any time and at our discretion.
- Adherence to our deadlines and to our rules and regulations is necessary to manage the Festival effectively and will be strictly enforced.
