About the Westbury Theatre
The Westbury Theatre is the largest venue in the TransAlta Arts Barns and is capable of hosting small groups of 100 or larger events with as many as 370 people. The flexibility of this multiform space allows for an array of different seating possibilities.
Regular uses of the space include the proscenium theatre configuration with 315 raked seats or cabaret style with table seating for 200. For concerts on stage, rush seating can contain 370 or more people.
Surrounded by plush, burgundy drapery, this space can be lit subtly with tea lights or dramatically with theatrical fixtures.
Bookings of this venue include the set-up and restoration of the configuration of your choice, the expertise of our highly skilled in-house technician for the duration of your rental, as well as all preliminary meetings with on-site staff.
