Partners

The Fringe Theatre Arts Barns is a community hub.

Fringe is proud to support local arts organizations that contribute to the rich and dynamic cultural tapestry of Edmonton. We champion independent theatre, dance, music, art making, and art makers every day of the year (not just the 11 days of our Festival!). There is always something happening in the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns. Together, we foster spaces where bold and innovative ideas are seeded, grow, and prosper.

Please find our evolving list of partners below. We hope you’ll join them for a show soon! Visit our ticketing page for information on upcoming shows.

Common Ground Arts Society

Common Ground Arts Society radically invites artists of all disciplines at all stages of their career to wildly experiment with process and craft. Common Ground proudly produces RISER Edmonton, a project incubator launching what’s new and next in performance; and Found Festival, theatre / music / dance / poetry / visual art in unexpected places.

CRIPSiE

CRIPSiE (The Collaborative Radically Integrated Performers Society in Edmonton) is an Edmonton-based collective of artists that include people who experience disability and their allies. CRIPSiE challenges dominant stories of disability and other forms of oppression through high-quality crip and mad performance art, video art, as well as public education and outreach programs.

Nerd Nite

Run by the infamous Nerd Bosses, Nerd Nite is a series of monthly presentations on all things nerd. It’s time to congregate over stimulating presentations and scintillating drink…in public.

Want to talk at Nerd Nite? Check out their website for more information.

Northern Light Theatre

Northern Light Theatre is dedicated to producing intimate and affecting work that speaks to the modern audience of the urban human condition, the failure to find security, and the loss of the dreams held by all for love and happiness. NLT challenges artists and audiences alike by producing and developing provocative scripts – language rich texts that are dark, poetic, funny – which reflect a complex world and lead us to question our hierarchy of values.
