Fringe Theatre is committed to helping artists grow their ideas from conception into full production, and our Fringe Spotlight program does just that. Each year we provide artists with resources and space so they can fully explore and execute their creative vision.
We are excited to support many companies and artists in the coming year!
Apply to Become a Spotlight Show
Are you an independent producer, producing company, or artist interested in becoming a Spotlight show? Each year we invest in two to three productions to feature in our Fringe Spotlight program. The average project receives $7,000 in support.
The Spotlight Program supports art that aligns with the following criteria:
- Diverse: Does the work offer new paradigms and perspectives, or give voice to the minority, the unheard, or overlooked?
- Relevance: Does the work reflect issues or concerns in our community – globally or locally?
- Engage: Does the work seek to develop community and employ audiences in a larger conversation?
