Located in the heart of Old Strathcona’s vibrant theatre district, the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns is a multi-theatre, professionally equipped venue flexibly designed to support live events. Whether you’re planning a cozy gathering for 25 or a snazzy event for 300, our six versatile spaces can be tailored to your vision.
We’re here to ensure your theatre run, concert, dance performance, gala, wedding, conference, or product launch goes off without a hitch. Our dedicated, customer service focused team will ensure the details are looked after so you can focus on what matters most: creating unforgettable memories.
Backstage Theatre
The Backstage Theatre is the second largest venue in the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns. This space offers a gritty charm. Backstage Theatre is exposed & industrial, with concrete floors and a licensed bar.
Studio A
Studio A is a warm space perfect for groups of up to 60. With a sprung floor and mirrors, this room can accommodate small recitals, meetings, receptions, and workshops.
Studio B
Studio B is great for groups of up to 45 people. This space boasts a sprung floor and mirrors, and is ideal for rehearsals, meetings, small receptions, and workshops.
Studio Theatre
Our second largest space, this unique black box theatre is fully-flexible. Suitable for intimate receptions, live performances, or workshops.
Westbury Theatre
That largest of our three theatres, the Westbury is a flexible, multiform space that can accommodate up to 300+ people in a variety of imaginative configurations.
